When a family of four purchased Sweet P’s Ice Pops in 2020, they wanted more than a cute dessert shop — they wanted a brand their Dayton, Ohio community could rally behind. The Artoholiks partnered directly with the family to rebuild the entire identity from scratch: from reimagined packaging and storefront design to a new website, truck branding, and ice-cream cart wraps. We helped Sweet P’s transform from a small local purchase into a beloved neighborhood business with real presence and pride.

Problem:

Sweet P’s had heart — but no true brand presence.
The product was family-made and delicious, but visually the business wasn’t recognizable, memorable, or competitive. The family needed a cohesive brand that reflected joy, flavor, and trust — something that could thrive both on Main Street, local events and online.

Solution:

We developed a playful, modern identity rooted in color, community, and nostalgia.

  • Logo & Identity: Bright, joyful visuals that instantly communicated flavor and family.
  • Packaging Design: Clean, fun, shelf-ready wrappers that elevated the product beyond “local treat.”
  • Environmental Branding: Wrapped their truck, street cart, and storefront to turn Sweet P’s into a moving billboard throughout Dayton.
  • Website & Print: Designed a digital presence and supporting materials that reflected professionalism and small-town charm.

Our approach connected Sweet P’s brand story to the streets it served — turning ice pops into a symbol of community.

Impact & Results:

  • Established Sweet P’s as a recognizable brand in Dayton’s food and family spaces.
  • Increased visibility through storefront, truck, and cart branding seen across town.
  • Helped the family enter local markets, events, and festivals with a polished, unified brand system.
  • Demonstrated how strategic design helps local businesses claim their space and strengthen community roots.
